Nadeem Qazi

Dr. Nadeem Qazi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Interaction Design Centre (IDC) at Middlesex University. He is working on the VALCRI project (criminal intelligence) focusing on Data Extraction and Text mining particularly Associative Query Retrieval (WP8) implementation. Dr.Qazi was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Intelligent Systems Research Centre at the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, worked on Data visualisation and temporal prediction of multi-dimensional data. He also has researched as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in National Centre of Geo-Computation at National University of Ireland Maynooth, developed a GIS for wastewater management in Ireland.
Dr Qazi received a PhD in Engineering from Cranfield University UK. His thesis explored the use of nonlinear models such as Neural Networks, fuzzy logic to model and predicts the efficiency of nonlinear two phase separation process. He also has worked towards the ensemble and stacking of trained of neural networks for improving the accuracy.
